Teresa Cook, RN has been a nurse working in pediatric epilepsy since 2013 at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She has a special interest in helping teenagers navigate the transition process of moving from pediatric to adult neurology.

Prior to working in pediatric epilepsy, she worked as staff nurse on the neurosurgical floor for more than 2 years. While working towards her nursing degree, she worked as an epilepsy monitoring technician for 4 years. She also worked several years in group homes where she helped individuals with developmental disabilities, many of which also had epilepsy.

She received her bachelor’s degree in social work in 2001 from Winona State University and completed her associate degree in nursing at Rochester Community and Technical College in 2009.
