Through Plate Glass

Fri, 07/06/2018 - 08:37
I’ve finally published my collection of poems that have taken me 13 years to write about the loss of my daughter Sam and her baby. It’s my journey from the day before she died until now. Hopefully it will help others to find a way through and help anyone with epilepsy to understand the risks xx It is called Through Plate Glass and is available for Kindle or in paperback from Amazon.

Hi Christine,I was wondering

Hi Christine,I was wondering if you saw a response to your expression of grief through poetry.  I have epilepsy that has thankfully been under control for the past 14 years.  Among others, my condition was one of the reasons I became a neuroscientist.  I am fascinated with functions of the brain and have begun portraying neurological conditions, including epilepsy, through visual art.  Do you think that patients or their families could use art as an icebreaker to speak more openly about their condition and help raise awareness?Thank you,Yana
