Ever felt confused at random times?

I've had epilepsy for a long time now and I was wondering has anyone been in a situation where: (for instance) you're siting on the couch watching tv and all of a sudden you have no idea where you are or what you're doing but it only lasts like 1 min then you're back to normal? It happens to me every now and then.

Yes, my daughter had this.  She was able to walk and talk, but some of what she said didn't make sense.  For example, during an episode, she called my husband an Island Person, and she said she had never been there before when she was at home.  She had a cluster of these episodes over a three day period.  Never before or after.  I don't know if they were seizures or what.  Yes, we talked about it with her neurologist.
