Hello. I was curious if any of you have found a Non-Stimulant Pre Workout that had no ill side effects? I am starting to go back to the gym after a knee surgery and a few months down and am trying to find some opinions on this. My Neurologist cant seem to give me a clear cut yes or no. I appreciate any advice!

Hi, Thank you for posting. We are happy to hear that you’reworking on getting back to the gym. Adding physical activity into your regular routine may help with seizure control, improve mood & cognition, sleep and overall quality of life. https://www.epilepsy.com/living-epilepsy/healthy-living/fitness-and-exerciseThere are many different pre-work out options that are available, each with different ingredients, which may be why it’s hard for your Neurologist to give you a clear answer. Prior to using a non-stimulant workout it’s best that you review the specific ingredients with your Neurologist, nurse, or pharmacist, to see how this may,or may not impact your individual treatment plan. You may want to consider keeping a journal or diary.
