After surgery on left temporal lobe

Sat, 02/20/2016 - 03:50
Hello all. I am currently at 1 year and 2 days since brain surgery. This was a long year of medicine experiments to cure epilepsy. Until Dec 7th I was on various meds and struggled deeply with seizures, new found back pain that sits between my shoulders, and honestly my brain just feels off. I was lucky to find out that after doing a week stay at the hospital and being taken off all meds my seizures were actually miraculously cured from surgery and reoccurring from the seizure meds. My only issues are the extreme pain I have in my back between shoulder blades and just plain not feeling like myself. I used to be a computer programmer and no longer can handle it. I struggle with my children. The back pain override my thoughts and I'm lost. So I'm hoping someone out there has maybe been here before and can give some advice on how to move on. . . I just feel stuck in this feeling that will never leave. Thank you for reading and any advice. -Jb
