Corpus callosotomy surgery

Sat, 09/16/2017 - 08:15
My 15 years old son has severe epilepsy. He is severely developmentally delayed (no speech, and communication difficulties) He has around 3-10 seizures per day(atonic, tonic, myoclonic and more). He has a VNS since the age of 2 with no visible improvements. Our doctors advice us to undergo the surgery. We are wondering if anyone has had any experience with corpus callosotomy, and would like any feedback. Feel free to email me at iraviking@gmail.com or here. Irina

My nephew has severe autism

Submitted by Sambla007 on Sat, 2017-09-23 - 15:58
My nephew has severe autism and epilepsy.  He doesn't speak much either.  He under went neurosurgery and it has helped him with his epilepsy as his drugs were very drowsy and he was zoned out.  He walks more freely as well as he was more scared with his hands constantly in front of him.
