Help...front temporal lobe surgery

Wed, 08/09/2006 - 15:56
Hello, I was hoping someone out there can help me. My sister, who just turned 30, recently underwent front temporal lobe surgery. 4 months have passed and she isn't having seizures anymore however her mood swings are crazy. She can be smiling and laughing one moment and having violent outbreaks minutes later. She is often depressed and suicidel. The doctors have told us this is sometimes normal and we should just give it time. I am a little more concerned that something may have gone wrong with the operation. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!! Nigel

Gudday, what medication is she on? Have a look at the little sheet that comes in the packet of tablets. Im betting mood swings etc is on there. Maybe a change in meds will help.
