Had my surgery Weds out of the hosptial today(Sunday). Doctors told me I did as well as I could possbiliy done. They removed a 6mm tumor or imflamtion plus 2mm around it. Headaches are deffeinetely a problem but things get better every single day. Still in some pain but I haven't had any seizure actvity since the surgery. Even trade to me. I have 25 small staples and will be taken out next monday and I will also get the pathology report back that will tell me exactly what it was. Doctor said it was more of an imflamation than a tumor. Just wanted to bring closure to this thread. I am feeling great and the positives by far exceed the negatives at this point! Thanks for your prayers!

You know, thats wonderful. I am really happy that you're doing so well. With my surgery just 2 1/2 weeks away, it makes me feel great, too. My seizure-causing cyst is 11 mm big, in my left temporal lobe. Waiting to be removed. :) I had an anxiety attack this morning, on my way to work and I had to pull over in the car. I just heard this sad song and it triggered some emotions, got me crying and breathing real fast and getting dizzy, I was almost hyperventilating. I've had one anxiety attack before, maybe, in the far past. This is weird. Then, to top it off, I had a small seizure right before my shift was over at work this afternoon. I'm just getting stressed. I'm getting scared. But reading stories like yours helps to make me feel better. I know it will be alright, but it's still scary as sh**. But now I feel better. I hope you do, too. My surgery is on Oct. 4th. Talk to you soon....Kelly

Kelly G. the experience leading up to the surgery is very testing. I had to postpone my senior year of college for it just to remove a small "lesion" in my right temporal lobe that was growing. I just had to share my story on here b/c b4 I was about to go in I wanted to hear from someone else that they had the same experience and came out alright. So thats me telling you, it will be ok. Before the surgery I told my surgeon that if this was succesful that I would be naming my first son after him. Needless to say my sons name will be Miguel Szush. As soon as I awoke from the surgery and realized I was ok I pointed to the surgeon gave him the thumbs up and told him he was the man! Hoping your experience goes as well as mine. Also I was not a spiritual person until this experience, that was until I felt the power prayer. Just a suggestion, embrace it if you feel it, it's ok. It is a way to cope. I thanks everyone who has prayed for me and praise god for giving me strength. So I will pray for you Kelly hoping you accept it and ask god to use it! Good Luck
