My name is Shawn. I underwent the stereotactic laser ablation procedure this past march and it has been very successful. I have had seizures for over thirty years and was finally referred to a neurologist here in Houston who immediately sent me to an epilepsy neurosurgeon. I wound up having the surgery and can provide a large amount of details on my experience since I work in the medical field, as well as my wife. If you'd like, feel free to e-mail me at rowdy_texan04@hotmail.com. It may take me a day or two to respond due to my sometimes busy schedule, but I'll sure answer the questions to the best of my ability. Just FYI, ever since I had the surgery in March, I have had no seizures or auras, and am slowly being weaned off of at least one of my medications.
