Need you to be my son's voice.

My 13yo developmentally disabled son had a right temporal lobectomy on Sept. 18. They resected 5 cm. He doesn't communicate how he feels, especially now that he's had the surgery. He is incredibly quiet, compared to the happy, huggy kid he was. Could you please tell me what he might be experiencing? How much/what kind of pain might he be feeling? Does he feel depressed/lonely? Could his vision be affected? I want so much to make him feel comfortable. I want to give him the right amount/type of pain medicine without over- or underdosing him. Also, this morning he vomited three times. Thanks, Deanna
