post op surgery site question

Mon, 04/14/2008 - 11:13

I had right temporal lobe surgery done in '07, and I'm curious to know if anyone who has had this surgery still have, as I call them, little bumps around the surgery site? Although i feel great and have had no seizures thus far, i wonder if anyone else has these. I know it is because of the screws in the skull. They dont hurt, nor are they bothersome. Its kinda "funky" though running my hand across my temple and feeling it. LOL . Anyone? Becky

I had the same surgery in 04, and my scalp still is not completely healed. My neuro checked it once and told me my head felt like a golf ball.

Hey Becky. I also had the surgery. Mine was about 5 months ago. November of 2007. I also have those little bumps on the side of the head that they cut open. not really problemsome. just different. Congrats by the way on no more seizures. Thats great.
