RNS on post surgical patients

Fri, 10/06/2017 - 09:07
I want to hear from others who have had the RNS system implanted into an area where doctors previously removed tissue. I had one doctor at a major medical hospital assure me they could not implant leads into my right temporal lobe because callous tissue would not allow them to penetrate. But at a second opinion at a different clinic I met a doctor who said it could be done and I am the perfect candidate for RNS. Are there any others who have had this impenetrable response?
