Wada test recovery?

Mon, 08/21/2006 - 19:10
Just checking, I had the test done last week and the bruising is getting worse as is the swelling. Also have a smallish lump at the cathater site. Has anyone else here experienced this following their test? My leg feels fine, no numbness but the site where the procedure was done really hurts and I was just wondering what sort of time frame is realistic for me to consider myself healed. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks! M

The recovery took a few weeks for me too. It's just a weird spot to put that stuff in. But it all healed well. I didn't have any fun with my boyfriend for a few weeks, though. The soreness took a while to go away. LOL Now, after all the tests, i'm having brain surgery in 5 weeks. Scared as a fat pig who smells bacon from across the farm. But hey, i'm all for having the seizures finally be over. Hopefully....Good luck with your situation. Kelly

Hey, best wishes to you for your surgery! I'm also probably headed that way myself. And thanks for the Wada info. I didn't think it would be so painful and I was surprised at how sore I was after because everyone I talked really talked down about those aspects. They all said it was an easy, benign procedure so I wasn't prepared for this!Good luck to you as well and thanks again for the info. Mary

This isnt' about recovery from WADAs but I'm about to have one in a few weeks- what did you guys think of it? It may be MY determining factor as to whether or not I decide to have the surgery- they recomend it without the wada already...
