The American Epilepsy Society (AES) promotes research and education for professionals dedicated to the prevention, treatment and cure of epilepsy. The International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) is a global association of physicians and other health care professionals. Its mission is to provide the highest quality of care and well-being for those afflicted with the condition and related seizure disorders.
The National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC) serves as the unified voice for epilepsy centers across the United States. NAEC works with the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) to provide practice costs of office-based epilepsy services. They also advocate for increased Federal support for epilepsy programs and health care policies benefiting people with epilepsy as well as a multitude of other services.
