Empowered Journeys Spring 2026
Epilepsy News From: Wednesday, May 27, 2026
For years, Foundation Quarterly has served as a trusted source of stories, updates, and inspiration for the epilepsy community. Today, the Epilepsy Foundation is proud to introduce a new chapter in that legacy: Empowered Journeys, our newly reimagined community magazine.
Published twice a year, the magazine will spotlight the people, experiences, breakthroughs, and voices that continue to shape the epilepsy community every day.
While the look and title of the magazine have evolved, our mission remains unchanged. Every story we share and every initiative we launch is rooted in our commitment to ensuring that no one faces epilepsy alone.
The launch of Empowered Journeys also comes at a time of exciting momentum for the Epilepsy Foundation. Throughout the organization, we are expanding programs and investing in innovative tools that strengthen support for the community while helping shape the future of epilepsy care.
One example is empowER&D™ (Empowering Epilepsy Research and Development), a groundbreaking research initiative designed to deepen community engagement and advance research informed by lived experience. Through empowER&D™, people with epilepsy, caregivers, and families can securely contribute their experiences and insights to help researchers better understand epilepsy and accelerate discoveries.
The Foundation is also embracing technology in new ways to improve access to trusted information and support. SAGE, the AI Epilepsy Assistant available through epilepsy.com, helps individuals quickly find personalized resources, answers, and guidance tailored to their needs.
The future of epilepsy care is bright, and so is the future of the Epilepsy Foundation. Through continued investment in research, technology, advocacy, and connection, we remain committed to empowering individuals, inspiring progress, and bringing people together.
Thank you for being part of this journey and for helping us shape the future of epilepsy care together.
