Chinese and other natural medicine and Neurology in Arizona?

Mon, 04/30/2007 - 20:01
I am looking to find doctors that work with natural medicine which are Neurologists in Arizona, closer to the Mesa/Tempe/Chandler area. Possibly doctors practicing Chinese medicine. Also doctors that might condone the use of the ketogenic diet. I have too many people pushing medications for their profit. I know natural options are available, and i would like to find out where in my area. Is there a number i can call to find this out? Sincerely, -Joshua M.

Hi Joshua, sorry tat i am unable advise you about location of doctors in your ctry. However, in the meanwhile, you can try on other 'natural' methods. If you read around this website and do some research on the net, you will find that vitamins like omega3, vitamin E and taurine are v impt to epilepsy patients. For Chinese medicine, do be careful that ginseng n gingko may trigger attacks. Right now i am trying to read up on deer velvet. If you search on net, you will c that other than China, countries like Russia and New Zealand are also emphasing the benefits of deer velvet, even for controlling epilepsy as well, although it was not yet scientifically confirmed. Hence, if you manage to find chinese medical physicians over at your side, perhaps you can ask them about deer velvets as well. Please kindly share about any findings ya. Thanks! depress

Hi there, sorry to include in my earlier post that you can also read up dogtorj.net for changes you can adjust for your diet to control the attacks. depress

rocknroll HI JOSH, I CAN'T

rocknroll HI JOSH, I CAN'T HELP YOU WITH YOUR SEARCH IN PHOENIX, AND I COULD SUGGEST DR. ANDREW WEILL AT UMC IN TUCSON, BUT THE WAITING LIST FOR HIM, IS AT LEAST TEN YEARS. I DON'T KNOW IF THAT IS HOW HIS NAME IS SPELLED. DR. WEIL WORKS WITH ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE.....MEDITATION, THERAPEUTIC TOUCH, DIET, ETC. I RECENTLY CHECKED OUT 'METAPHYSICAL STORES' AND FOUND THERE ARE MANY IN THE PHOENIX AND MESA/TEMPE AREA. PEOPLE SEEM TO GET TIRED OF MY WRITING THESE THINGS, BUT THE LAST TIME I WENT INTO THE E.R., THE ONLY THING I WAS TOLD TO DO, AS FOLLOW UP INSTUCTIONS, WAS TO MEDITATE. I MENTION THIS METAPHYSICAL STORES BECAUSE THE RESOURCES ARE BOUNDLES, AND THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE WHO WORK WITH MANY, MANY DIFFERENT TECHNIQUES FOR HEALING AND THEY CAN BE FOUND IN OR THRU THESE STORES. I MYSELF, AM THINKING MORE AND MORE THAT WHILE I HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH FOR THIS WEBSITE, AND APPRECIATE ANY SUPPORT I GET, THAT I AM IN A LEAGUE OF MY OWN WHEN IT COMES AT ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE...........AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY. THERAPUTIC TOUCH IS BEING TAUGHT TO DOCTORS AND NURSES ALL OVER THE COUNTRY. I USED TO DO IT. AND SO ARE OTHER TYPES OF HEALING THAT DO NOT INVOLVE PUTTING MORE MEDS. IN YOUR BODY AND NOT HAVING THE RESULTS ONE IS LOOKING FOR. THAT DOESN'T MEAN DON'T TAKE YOUR MEDS. IT MEANS THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO DEAL WITH E. WHICH HELP TREMENDIOUSLY. SINCE I SEEM TO BE ALONE IN THIS, I FEEL LIKE IT MAY BE TIME FOR ME TO EXIT THIS SITE, AND JOIN A DIFFERENT TYPE OF SITE. THE LAST TIME I WAS AN INPATIENT AT THE U. DIAGNOSTIC LAB, THE SOCIAL WORKER TOLD ME TO READ THE BOOK 'THE POWER OF NOW'. IT IS HELPING ME A LOT. HONESLY, I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE RESIST SUCH THINGS, WHEN THEY ARE SO HELPFUL. BY THE WAY>>>>>>>>>>>>>>PHOENIX YOU SAY>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>WOULD THAT MEAN YOU ARE A FAN OF A.S. WHOOOOO??????, AS WE SAY WERE I LIVE................LAND OF THE WILDCATS!
