Magnesium ( more specifically Magtein ) to Control Epilepsy

Tue, 11/17/2015 - 01:25

Hi Everyone,

My daughter had an intractable form of epilepsy which for over 7 years did not respond well to medications.

Recently, we have started her on magnesium and have seen vast improvements in her condition. Just over 2 weeks back, we had her started on Magtein (brain magnesium) and she had not had a fit or auora till today.

Will keep you guys updated on her condition. Magtein could be the silver bullet for her condition as well as for other people.

Dave.

Finally, was able to get her

Finally, was able to get her completely off medication. The last straw was, believe it or not, SOYBEANS. Having searched the internet on this topic, we removed soybeans from her diet and her condition stabilized so much we took her off the 25mg twice daily of Lamictal. By the way, most processed foods contain soy and so she does not eat anything processed. So to sum everything up:1. She eats only unprocessed whole foods, no animal product whatsoever.2. No soy3. No caffeine (including chocolate) or MSG4. No processed sugar5. Lots of vegetables and fruits.Hope this helps someone out there, this has been our journey these 10 years or so and the lessons that we learnt. Regards, Dave.
