I'm going to see my doctor tuesday. I plan to tell him I use weed to control my sez. Does anyone else ever talk to your doctor about this?? I wish to have a good patient/doc relationship but I guess if we can't I can look for another doc If you have any input you can email also at outdoorone@hotmail.com if you don't want to discuss it here. Peace to all Thanks....x

First off, I absolutely think you should tell your doctor what you are doing that might be affecting your seizure activity. Second, why marijuana? There are plenty of alternative options out there that have been studied and exhibited strong evidence for success with much less potential adverse effects. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Check out my chart of alternative epilepsy treatments.

Told my doc and he took it well. You ask why MJ. That's simple cause it works. I even see on your alt treatments you have MJ listed?? What are these potetial adverse effects you speak off??

I guess you didn't read far enough down the MJ page that I referenced earlier. Evidence for the efficacy of MJ in controlling seizures is yet to be established by large scale studies. Small scale studies have produced mixed results. Evidence for the potential adverse effects are well established. If you look closer at the chart, you will see there are effective options out there with minimal potential adverse events. YMMV. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Check out my chart of alternative epilepsy treatments.
