Did taking out a weird cyst off the back of my neck cure my Epilepsy? -Whao!

Tue, 07/07/2015 - 18:01

OK, so here's a weird one....I was at a routine Dermatology checkup and we decided to take off what appeared to be only a larger cyst (about 1/2 inch across and red) out of the back of my neck....we had noticed that it was getting larger over the last few years....

No big deal...it only took about 20 minutes and I was out of there.  Days later I started feeling really different and noticed that my usual sways (I've been an Epileptic almost all of my life) and occasional dips were mysteriously disappearing.

Really curious now whether this ("tested as benign") cyst could have been way more than met my Dermo's eye.  He had stated to me that any bigger and he would have bounced me to a General Surgeon....

Could all of my years of childhood gran mals and almost a lifetime of needing Tegretol XR (800/day) have been freakin cured by this sucker that wasn't even in my skull?

Now my curiousity is killing me.  Nurses have sworn that there's no way this had any effect...after 6 weeks of this my instincts are telling my otherwise....

I'll post updates and welcome any thoughts...thanks!!
