anxiety and epilepsy

Hey everyone, a couple instances that I hope someone can relate to. I started having seizures about 2 years ago. Ever since I started having them, my memory, anxiety, and ambition have all seemed to take a serious toll. Memory and cognitive skills aren’t as strong as they used to be. I tend to mumble often now as well as I completely loose my train of thought or words I want to use when talking to people. I also have dealt with anxiety and depression before I was diagnosed with epilepsy but my anxiety has skyrocketed and even the simplest situations can immediately lock me up or cause an aura. My ambition has taken a serious drop considering I am always tired or anxious. I have gone through multiple types of therapy for my depression/anxiety but it feels like my doctors don’t believe me or they supplement my therapy with something completely outlandish to help with my actual issue. I was diagnosed with JME (juvenile mayoclonic epilepsy) and apparently I’ve had some issues in my lifetime in conjunction with the JME without the actual seizures. If anyone has any answers or similarities please share. I’m 24 years old and at this point in my life, things are just getting harder.
