I don't think I had a seizure - EMT's did... What do you think?

Incident of Monday 7/24/2017 Note: Mark is my foster son who has Intellectual disability, but is high functioning. Getting information out of Mark is like phishing and can be different every time – we re-enacted out the incident several times and I stressed how important is to get it right. I didn’t sleep well Sunday night, tossed and turned all night. Monday morning I got up at around 4:00AM normally I get up at 5:00AM or within the hour. At 6:15AM I went into the recreation vehicle (home office) and fired up the computer and phone. During the late morning I started to develop a headache and a pain in my left shoulder which spread to my left eye – so I took some Tylenol. Later I had a couple cups of coffee. Probably around 1:00PM I had a dozen (small) scrambled eggs. The pain in my left shoulder and eye was not going away but getting worse and I was finding it somewhat hard to see the laptop’s screen, but I struggled through. Finally around 3:00PM, while “HelpDesk” was stable, I thought I’d grab a power nap, because I was tired and wanted to get rid of this splitting headache. So, I took off my glasses and sat in my easy chair, with the TV on and fell asleep. Mark came home around 3:20PM, I heard him come in and woke up and talked to him for a bit, he grabbed a tonic and cigarette and went outside. I thought I’d catch another 15-20 minutes of shut-eye and went back to sleep When in a deep sleep, Mark came back in and tried to wake me up and said he could not and that I was slouched in the chair, elbows on my legs, touching my fists together. No twitching. (I always fall asleep in the chair at night while watching TV and I do wake up slouched to one side.) Mark got scared and went across the street to get our neighbor, Karen, but she was getting dressed so Mark came back home and called 911. The next thing I know, I hear voices outside and Mark saying “He’s in there” the EMT’s come in and one said to me “You’ve had a seizure buddy, you’re going to the hospital”. I was shocked and now scared and didn’t know what to think. So, I got up on my own, put on my shoes, closed the laptops lids, turned off the TV, grabbed my keys, wallet, glasses and locked up the RV (I forgot my phone) and went with them. Thinking “I did? Suppose I did, better go with them.” I was not clear headed because I just woke up from a deep sleep and was groggy. On the way to the hospital I was fully conscious and aware of my surroundings but not talking much, just trying to hang on tight to the gurney rails and worried about having had a just alleged seizure. At the hospital, I went through all their tests. I got up several times to go the bathroom – on my own. I was talking to the nurses, doctors, staff and Mark – no problems. Finally, around 9:30PM my roommate arrived at the hospital after finding out I was there. I was released and we came home and had pizza. I then went to bed. The rest of the week I was fine, no post seizure symptoms or anything else like others report having. I don't believe I had a seizure – I was in a deep “power-sleep” nap and was dreaming. Now work wants a doctor’s note stating that I can drive and come to work. Having a seizure is now in my medical records, which I will have to address. I will see what the Neurologist has to say on August 16th. What do you think? Thanks for reading! Bill
