Did my Father have a Seizure?

Wed, 03/02/2016 - 07:21
Hi Guys! This is my first time visiting this site due to my father. For the past few months he has been feelings pain and numbing throughout his left side. He has very very bad headaches that won't go away. After being to doctors, they told him to go to a neurologist. Before he ever got to call, considering it was the next day, this occured. He went to work and felt fine. Around 11am, he called my mom talking jibberish saying things like its different now, I need to find him, Im gonna be on the tv, and theres an accident. And the rest were words we have never heard. He eventually hung up. Maybe 20 minutes later..?, we got a call from his boss saying he was in the parking lot and they couldnt understand what he was saying. She left work and got another call saying that he passed out and was unresponsive. No one was with him to see if he was moving around before hand. When they got to the hospital, he didnt know where he was, or who anyone was but his boss (who he's known for 30 years). He didn't know my mom. They didn't find anything in a CT Scan and are doing more tests today. After about 9 hours of him sleeping and talking jibberish, he said he could remember a little. He called my mom because his head started hurting and he thought he was going blind. But he couldn't get any words out that he wanted to. He remembered falling into a wall and not being able to hold himself up so he wanted to drive himself to the hospital. Before he got to the truck he got very dizzy and started spinning. All the pain got worse. He had chest pain, and his body felt numb. And he said two guys from work caught him when he fell and he repeatedly tried to tell them to call 9-1-1 but couldn't talk. And then passed out. When nurses came to talk he would say random things. He didn't understand the questions and when checking his depth perception he failed. Please let me know anything that you can. This has never happened to him in the past. My father in law has the "grand maul" seizures, but never my dad. Any info you can give please do! Thanks
