Travel Insurance

Fri, 03/06/2009 - 03:19

Hi, I am looking to travel to Australia from Canada for a month & am looking at my options for insurance.  I have not had a seizure for approximately a month & a half (thanks to a change in medications) & hope to leave in a month.

So far, the only terms for insurance coverage I can find for epileptics include being 'seizure free' & not having a change in medications for at least 12 months.  Does anyone know any options/anywhere I can get travel insurance in my situation?

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

There are a lot of companies that can help you. I found some by entering the words "Canadian", "pre-existing condition", "travel insurance" in a web search engine.

Good luck!
