Will my car insurance rates go up in a single car accident?
Mon, 03/23/2009 - 03:25Then, it depends on your company. Some have first accident forgiveness after you have been with the same company more than 3 or 5 yrs. Some have first accident forgiveness up to a certain amount (like only up to $10,000, above that is chargable). Some don't have any first accident forgiveness.
The best place to find out is your agent.

hi, just to let you know people are looking to help. But i found you already have the best information I know other than to check on another company. Some companies don't increase rates based on accidents while insured by other companies. hope it helps. rikk
