diazepam and lamictal

Wed, 03/30/2005 - 09:20

so my dentist gave me a scrip for valium because i have to get a cavity out tomorrow and i have panic attacks when people touch my face (dentist, eye doctor, dermatologist....blah).  I completely forgot I'm on a different AED than i was when i got a veener for a broken tooth three years ago.

i've been looking it up everywhere and nothing has any inkingly of the two having a bad interaction. my dentist knew i was on lamictal so i'm guessing its alright?  my neuro was closed by the time i got out and my appt tomorrow is before he opens.

You do not want the mercury in the teeth, that can cause seizures. Get some other type of filling that is not metal.http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/EpilepsyApproach/Lisa
