Keppra

I am having a great deal of trouble with depression since adding Klonopin to Keppra. I don't want to add another drug on top of these two. Has anyone used this combo before and do the symptoms start to fade with time?

I have taken just about every combination of meds for over 20 years and got to a point where I was having a seizure once a week, same day same time. Thats what drove me to the edge. 3 years ago I was given a chance of taking keppra (still more or less unknown at the time) in conjunction with epilim and clobazam. And with the great support of a specialist epilepsy nurse and all the other support staff that they put me in touch with I've been seizure free from that day (touch wood).Yes I still suffer from depression but that's how i've since I was a kid, but never suicidal like I was. I also know that I've support staff whenever i need them. Side effects-like I say 10 times more depression having seizures than not having them. Other side effects, possible liver damage after a long time but no worse than drinking. As for sleeplessness being a side effect, I've worked nights for over 10 years and if anything i sleep better than ever. I take 1000mg keppra twice a day, 1000mg epilim twice a day and 10mg clobazam twice a day. Also thinking about it linking up with another thread I am a much calmer person than before, but then again I attribute that more to the lack of anger and depression that having regular seizures used to leave me with.
