Yes, I have taken this test. It DOES take all day. They quiz you on an array of things. Math, history, quickness, memory, character profile, etc. They also like to write down your whole family health history. Take a water bottle or something to drink with you. You'll need it! Good luck! Hi , I had to take this test to see if I would be a candidate for surgery. It is also necessary because you will be re tested again 6 to 9 months after surgery to see what ( if any ) changes have occured. I go for my post surgery test in about a fortnight. Do not worry about it to much, there is no pass or fail as such. It is an assesment of your CURRENT capabilities which can be compared, at a later date, with your post sugery capabilities. Along with the various types of tests, like memory, quickness, general knowledge (ie current affairs), my psycologist came back to earlier topics we had covered to see if I remembered what we had said. The one thing he covered nearly every 10 minutes was my recollection of a short story he read to me. Good Luck- It is another step closer to the the ultimate goal- being free of siezures, which is a goal worth working for.

Hi Pam, I remember the 2

Hi Pam, I remember the 2 days of tests. My mind was so affected after them on day 1, that I seized twice while being driven home afterwards. Being tired can cause seizures, and I assure you you will be mentally exhausted afterwards. Advice.. don't worry about it, as it isn't something you can plan ahead. But do get plenty of sleep the night before you go, take some water as advised and just relax about the entire episode. Have fun ~sol
