Hi - Lee here.  Check the side effects of your meds on this site.  You will find that many meds for E do affect bone density.  Sitting here with a broken arm myself right now and slated for density tests next week to see where I am just in case.  This break was unavoidable - short of not being momentarily stupid -but I want to know where I am now too since I am also going through menopause and all of the delightful aspects of that.  Life is challenging enough without all the effects of E and age....but you're not alone and there are meds to help.  Just watchout for those stupid attacks!  Lee

Good answer Lee.I read the links as well, and it seems a common problem bone density loss to look forward to through AED use..

Just wish the rest of  your post had been better news wise regarding the arm,and progress there.Nice to read your spirits are still up though, and  that when you go for the tests, that hopefully the news will be good regarding prognosis for you.
