Broken bones

I had a seizure at work on 2.7.19. I was sitting at my desk doing a loan application, when next thing I know I'm laying on the floor in a pool of blood in the most pain I've ever felt in my life. Emergency ppl were all around asking me questions that I couldn't answer. I had no idea how old I was, the date, who was president, where I was, etc... Only thing I could remember was my name. Was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with a breakthrough tonic-clonic seizure, an inferior and anterior dislocation of left shoulder, broken left proximal humerus, facial laceration above my left eye needing 4 stitches, and a concussion. Don't know why it happened and I've been waiting to see a neurologist for a month now. It seems like no one else on this website went through an incident as bad as this... Is this normal seizure aftermath??? It seems like my seizure was pretty massive to cause such bodily harm. Anyone experience something like this? Any advice or comments as to why it happened?? I remember feeling abnormally tired the morning it happened. But I'm always tired, and never sleep well, so I didn't think much it?

I also have epilepsy when I

I also have epilepsy when I had my seizure in August I landed on about 4-5 glasses which all shattered and I convulsed face down on them Scar down the side of my face and 2 lacerations above my left eye as well which forced me to get stitches as well.  I also have the same sleeping problems.  To answer your question our seizures are causing a lot of harm.  All I can reccomend though is to take our meds and do our best to get our sleep.

Everyones normal is different

Everyones normal is different. I have had multiple concussions over 54 years. 2 years ago I fell backwards into my bathtub during a seizure and fractured 3 vertebrae. I wore a back brace for 3 months. I have about 3 months post seizure when my memory and mood are impaired. I live alone which adds anxiety for me. I'm really wanting a therapy dog to assist post seizure. Have you considered that? So sorry you had such a rough time!
