Hi everyone, I am new to this site. I have Grand Mal seizures that are not that often. My last one was 3 years ago on New Year's Day. I would like to have penpals who also have siezures and know what I am going through. Btw-I am married so I just want friends. Thanks, Melanie

Hi Melanie! Welcome to the site! This is a friendly site full of people who care. Tell us more about yourself. What type of epilepsy do you have? Are you on medication? I have Temporal Lobe Epilepsy and am on Depakote and Tegretol XR. Smiles! -Spiz

Thanks Spiz, I am on Depakote and Keppra. I feel like the Keppra makes me tired in the afternoon. I have had Grand Mal seizures all my life. Thanks, Melanie

Hi Melanie ! Welcome to the site - glad you have joined us. I have temporal lobe seizures, both right and left side. I take Keppra (and yes- it makes me tired too), and also have the VNS implant.
