IS IT EPILEPSY? WHAT IS THIS??? SHOCKING WAVES ALL OVER MY BODY, CAN'T SLEEP! HELP!

Sun, 08/25/2019 - 20:53
So, ive been diagnosed with panic attacks and anxiety long ago when i was 13 years old (i am 26 now, male). Lately my medication has been Venlafaxine (Effexor), Diazepam and Mirtazepine (But im getting out of Effexor gradually with a psychiatrist supervision). There's only one little big problem. WHY ARE ALL THESE JOLTS AROUND MY HEAD? WHAT IS THIS SENSATION WHEN I TURN MY EYES OR HEAD THAT I WILL FALL TO THE GROUND AND SENSE A ELECTRIC SHOCK BEGGING ON MY HEAD AND FINISHING OF IN MY HANDS!!!! (it lasts like 1 or 2 seconds but they are one after the other). And it's getting worse! When im sleeping i have conscious that im having them and i try to wake up and i cant!!!! And when i can it seems that i was already awake, just couldn't move. When i can wake up i also feel a "GASP" like a really big breath and hyperventilation like it was a HORRIBLE dream. And indeed i know that i dream with things that aren't horrible, just strange for someone to picture. Reeeeally strange, and i can't name one... cuz i don't remember, i only remember for like 10 minutes and then puff. Also my memory has been getting worse day by day.... Someone identifies? I've searched everywhere. These electric shocks and lack of sleep are killing me...

It’s very important that you continue to follow-up with your psychiatrist to describe these episodes you’ve been experiencing. Additionally, it’s important that you discuss your difficulties with sleep, changes in your memory, as well as, any changes in moods, behaviors, sides effects & symptoms, to determine what individual treatment plan is best for you. https://www.epilepsy.com/sites/core/files/atoms/files/pg2L_HealthCareVisits_09-2018.pdf Our new to Epilepsy & Seizure tool kit is a great resource and starting point for learning about what epilepsy is, what resources are available, how to make the most of doctors'visits, and how to take control of seizures.Learn more here: https://www.epilepsy.com/living-epilepsy/toolbox/new-seizures-and-epilepsy For additional information about seizures & diagnosing epilepsy please visit these links: https://www.epilepsy.com/learn/about-epilepsy-basics/facts-about-seizures-and-epilepsyhttps://www.epilepsy.com/learn/diagnosing-epilepsy For assistance and information regarding finding a specialist, or a second opinion please visit:https://www.epilepsy.com/learn/diagnosis/you-and-your-healthcare-team/second-opinions https://www.epilepsy.com/living-epilepsy/find-epilepsy-specialist www.naec-epilepsy.org  For additional questions, please contact our Epilepsy and Seizures 24/7 Helpline: 1-800-332-1000 contactus@efa.org, where a trained information specialist can connect you to resources, provide referrals and additional support.epilepsy.com/helpline

Go to a Neurologist and let him get you to do an EEG, that's how my epilepsy started.
