Looking for advice

Hello everyone, I’m very new to this several years ago when I was 22 I had 2 seizures a few months apart then nothing else. I’m now 31, On Saturday night I had been out with friends and came home quite stressed due to an incident with the taxi driver. Id only had a couple of glasses of wine so I wasn’t drunk, anyway I went to bed and straight to sleep, I vomited in my sleep my boyfriend tried to wake me but I was unresponsive and then I went into a seizure - my whole body was shaking it only lasted about 1 minute I stopped but was still unresponsive then I started shaking again for another 30 seconds. I came around and helped my boyfriend clean up (sorry I know that’s gross) I went into the kitchen to get more cleaning supplies and passed out. My boyfriend then called an ambulance (I wouldn’t let him after the seizures) my whole body felt weak when I came around on the floor, I felt nauseous and exhausted, my eyes kept streaming but I found it difficult to lift my arms. I then got a headache, after 20 minutes the ambulance came but the paramedic said it couldn’t of been a seizure because I didn’t urinate, he checked my blood pressure and sugar levels he said my bp was slightly high but he wasn’t worried. He made me feel like I’d wasted his time so I chose not to go to hospital because I was assured he didn’t think it was a seizure. Now I’m starting to get concerned I spent all day yesterday in bed exhausted, I slept most of the day away but when I did wake I had blurred vision and nausea again, I also lost the feeling in my left arm, a bit like if you keep in elevated too long and it feels numb with pins and needles in the fingers. I am extremely worried about what happened and will go to my doctor it usually takes a few days to get in which is why I am here asking if it’s possible I was having a seizure or if the paramedic was right and I couldn’t have been because I didn’t urinate? Thank you for reading

sounds just like a seizure - not everyone’s seizures are exactly the same. medical types with more letters after their names get seizure info wrong.

Thank you for the reply, I

This is a really good article.. http://www.onlinejacc.org/content/40/1/142I would say because you were confused and unresponsive it is a BIG sign that you had a seizure. Another sign is being nauseous and exhausted after.
