Hi jessienem,  Thanks so much for sharing you’re story, it sounds like you’ve been through a lot. One of the most important things to help you live with epilepsy is to find a support network. Learn more about your community support options and living with epilepsy as a young adult, here: https://www.epilepsy.com/learn/challenges-epilepsy/social-concerns https://www.epilepsy.com/living-epilepsy/youth/young-adults Additionally, you may always contact our Epilepsy and Seizures 24/7 Helpline: 1-800-332-1000 contactus@efa.org, where a trained information specialist can connect you to resources, provide referrals and additional support. epilepsy.com/helpline   Or contact your local Epilepsy Foundation at: https://www.epilepsy.com/affiliates  to find support groups, events, and programs in your community.

H Jessica, Thanks for sharing

H Jessica, Thanks for sharing your story/information with us.  I have epilepsy for as long as I can remember, 46+ years. I live in MASS fortunately the hospital in Boston has good thigs to use to and great people.   I have had numerous eeg's but none of them worked for me.  So the Depth electrodes test was the solution-it gave me the final answers. I cannot find a job now and lost one because of my epilepsy. I have Vagus Nerve Stimulator right now & it has worked. If You ever need help contact Your local Epilepsy Foundation Office-they have helped me.  I hope You find medication that works for You soon.  Good Luck.
