Possible Simple Partial Seizures?

Wed, 06/05/2019 - 14:31
Hello... I am new to this and wanted to reach out for advice. I have had a few "incidents" recently and wanted to see if they are seizures because everything I have read gives me mixed reviews. My doctor gave me a referral to see a Neurologist at the end of June. The first one happened about a week ago. I was laying in bed and I will best describe it as a visual distortion. The images in my mind were very off and moving to and fro. It lasted about a minute and left me very confused with a headache. It felt as though they were almost bouncing in my mind. I let it go. About 4 days later I was woken up to the noise of the small fan in my bed becoming very loud and distorted. I realized it was happening again so I went to reach out to my fiance and I couldn't move or speak for about a minute. Then it was over. I was shaky and had a headache. Last night I was laying in bed and I had another visual distortion. Everything was just very off. But I was able to move. I let it pass. Ended with another headache. A little background. I am a 34 year old female. Dx with Bipolar 1 disorder and PTSD. Currently depressed. Recovering addict. Never had a seizure before that I am aware of. I have had periods of auditory disturbances such as hearing music that isn't there at night (maybe 6x ever) and have been known to just "space out" at times. These are scaring me.
