72-hour EEG

Thu, 11/08/2018 - 16:38
My son is on day one of a 72-hour ambulatory VEEG. He's hanging in there, but not happy and feels like it's going to be a LONG 72 hours. Any tips for dealing with this? So far the biggest issues are the itching and his head feeling hot under the wrap. He HATES being hot, and it's giving him a mild headache. I have a fan on him and am keeping the room cool. He also feels it's going to be a bit awkward doing, um, bathroom business. We don't have a shelf or anything to rest the recorder on. He also is someone who tends to have some trouble sleeping, so tonight should be interesting. Fun times!
