My daughter is free from all medications with almost no seizures!!
Mon, 11/07/2011 - 04:24I would like to share my experience with an acupuncturist who is located in Torrance, CA. First my daughter Lisa started seizures (infantlie spasm, which is one of the most difficult to be treated) since she was 7 month old. (now 4) Years of struggles and time devoted to find a cure for her was in vain. Numerous of tests, different type of medications, bruises on my daughter face, sleepless nights, endless researches, and most importantly unceasing prayer of many people around us.
If you are just started on this journey, and have tried few medications in the first few weeks, and if that didn't stop the seizures, the chances are it's not going to stop according to UCLA neurologist. My daughter was on Sabril (with the risk of losing vision) at max. for her age, 3,000 mg per day, but that still didn't stop the seizures. My neurologist suggested to add additional medications, and we were thinking about going into Ketogenic diet. One of my church members heard about my daughter's situation, and she said that one of her relatives had similar situation and saw this acupuncture; and with just few treatment her child was able to walk away from all the meds. and the seizures. She is growing up very normal and the seizure incidents seems forgotten for them already. I took my daughter to the acupuncture doctor, and also from the first treatment, we was able to stop all medication and her seizure is almost gone. That happens couple month ago, and my daughter is more active and alert than ever.
According to the acupuncturist, Dr. Chung, the seizures are very easy to treat if discovered early. We saw few other acupuncturist before but this doctor was very special. He practiced since he was five years old from his parents (he is now 67 years old) from Korea, and have done some amazing things.
My brother's daughter had different type of seizures, which was Absence seizures. Her doctor recommended to put her on medication. I refer her to the doctor, and she got treated while she was visiting CA from KY with this acupucture doctor. She went back to KY and done EEG, everything came back normal.
My heart goes out to those families who are effected by this dreadful sickness, and wish that they could get hold of this acupuncture doctor. After all I went through for years, my conclusion is people with all types of seizures should try this doctor first at all cost, since the treatment is virtually has no side effects compare to other options. Most people I referred and people I heard who went to see the doctor with seizure problems got cured.
