Spongy Head

Fri, 09/29/2006 - 14:05
I was over at my mom's house on Tuesday and she was massaging my scalp. She said it felt different that it used to. It used to feel spongy. She's a care aid at an intermediate care home for seniors and has shampooed people's hair with epilepsy and said that their heads felt the same as mine. I've been pregnant for the past 5 months and my mom hasn't massaged my scalp in that time frame. I'm wondering if any of you guys think it might be connected. My neurologist's office still hasn't gotten back to me about setting up an appointment. I also think maybe all the hormonal changes in my body could change the epileptic activity in my brain. Anyone's opinions are appreciated. Thanks! Olena

How your body distributes itself probably has more to do with being pregnant, than having epilepsy. Plus, your mom is dealing with elderly people. Peoples bodies, as I am sure you know, change with age.
