Hey Nikki, I was diagnosed

Hey Nikki, I was diagnosed with epilepsy after pregnancy 4 years ago. I do not have grand mal seizures and my lingo isn't the best as I'm still learning about my diagnosis of TLE.I did have a grand mal seizure December 2017 due to stopping the first medication I was on due to thinking I didn't need it anymore (big mistake). I finally got on some medication that is doing amazing for me (lamictal) and I've noticed my seizure activity is a lot better. I have PCOS as well that was diagnosed after pregnancy and my periods were practically non-existent. My OBGYN put me on birth control in the pill form and I was doing just fine with the pills had regular periods and since I am actually trying to conceive I stopped taking the birth control around 5 months ago and I was having regular periods until maybe a couple months ago I've been sometimes going a whole month without a period. I do not trust implant birth control as I've heard so many horror stories. I feel like my body is going through enough with the epilepsy and PCOS so why put something inside my body that could possibly damage it more, if that makes sense. My neurologist was fine with me taking the pill form of birth control, but also knows I am trying to have another child and she says everything will be fine. If you are not trying to conceive then just take extra protective measures to avoid pregnancy.
