Temporary Possession?

Epilepsy

I know when, you came to be.

It happened when, my son was three.

You mock, and make us look a fool.

My son tremors, then blood filled drool.

You see, youÂ’ve made a big mistake!

For never will my son you take!

Some days you get, the best of me.

Victorious I will someday be.

For when we go, where Jesus reigns.

TheyÂ’ll let me in they know my name!

There youÂ’ll see, youÂ’ve lost the war!

You donÂ’t exist past HeavenÂ’s door.

For now condemned, to play your game.

In GodÂ’s kingdom you have no name.

While I am here, IÂ’ll make you known!

But donÂ’t forget, you have no throne.

I write today, for all to see

You have a nameÂ… Epilepsy!

Mishelle,

Thanks for the poem.  We've been having a hard time controlling my daughters seizures, and i really needed to hear those words.

I also get flustered.  My son has had uncontrollable absence seizures since he was 3.  Recently my 16 yr old daughter began her battle with epilepsy.  There are a million avenues to research as far as doctors and medications etc. However I like God's solution much better.  It makes me smile.
