upcoming left anterior temporal lobectomy..would love to hear other peoples stories

Fri, 11/06/2015 - 14:54

Hi everyone, I am having a left anterior temporal lobectomy later this month, and I would love to hear stories from those of you who have had this same surgery......I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that this surgery is successful and I become seizure free.  I am also hoping that I don't have any serious complications b/c I had enough complications with the depth electrode surgery.  If anyone has had this surgery or a left temporal lobectomy in general please let me know how your surgery went, your side effects, whether or not you've had any seizures since, how long you were in the hospital, how long your recovery was, etc.  Thank you in advance.
