vision

Sun, 10/08/2006 - 02:44
Has anyone ever lost their vision temporaly? I've never lost it completely but it's been blurry like I was drunk or something and i would put on my parent's glasses. It would help a little but i don't need glasses. The eye doctor i went to see said so. So I was wondering if anyone thinks that it could be connected to the meds I was on at the time.

Sorry about forgetting the meds. :) I'm on Felbatol, Zonegran, Lamictal, and Tranxene. It's happened to me twice. The first time was lack of sleep, didn't get to bed until 1am and had to be ready to go at 6. The second time, I think that I've decided that I took my meds twice that morning because i threw up whatever I ate. One of the side effects is nausea.I couldn't walk in a straight line so I had to crawl everywhere or had help walking. By the end of the day I could walk, see, and hold food down. I ate a whole burger, fries and a shake (I was hungry!). I get something like double vision. I close one eye and I'm ok but I can't walk around with one eye closed the entire day. Needless to say, I try to get enough sleep and I make sure I only take my meds once in the morning.
