when?

I know that this post is up here somewhere already but i figured i'll post something anyway. I am 22 and horribly single. I've been in 2 relationships before but i was lucky. The first guy already knew about it and the second found out the hard way (I had a seizure in front of him) but after he found out he was cool with it. Then all the guys i meet now are totally immature and think having epilepsy is a joke. If I ever do meet someone and it gets serious, I was wondering when it is a good time to tell them that i have epilepsy. FYI: I'm not as brave as some other people in here who say just tell them upfront. I think I'm lucky enough to have found someone and i don't want to take my chances driving them away by telling them.

I'm 25 and although I'm with someone- I find it hard to tell girlfriends about it that dont' already know- What kind of seizures do you have? and How often do they happen? If you went out with someone on a few dates- say once/twice a weekend for a few weeks would one happen? Once you'd get to know someone a little more you might feel a little more comfortable telling them about it. I usually find dudes especially think that the fact that I can't drive is cool- or should I say then they will definitly ask why and it will sort of bring up the subject for you...but that's only if you are in that situation. Then you can explain what happens to you and that it's fine when the seizures done or however whatever(I have complex partial seizures so almost nothing happens to me except a blank stare and lip smacking- sometimes I spit hehe) and then they say huh and you go about your business. Then when you feel one coming on in their presence make them watch you so they know what to look for- what it looks like- it might scare them but if they can't handle it the first time they might never be able to. Just the transition from college to working life I've noticed a great difference that sometimes the E is only a BIG deal if you personally make it one. Unless you need an ambulance or special care during your seizures you may be able to get away with not telling anyone anything- at least for a little while ;) Damn that was long- sorry for babbling- hope some shread of this was informative! I have gran mal seizures so when they happen everyone around me knows. I usually tell my girlfriends right away. All my friends know and they are really cool with it but it's just letting guys know. They definitely ask after I say that I can't drive. And in actuality I'm usually not the one making a big deal out of it. If I tell them they end up treating me like I'm made out of china or something.
