Has anyone had severe pain from the cold after surgery.

Fri, 01/21/2005 - 12:13
Hi! My husband had surgery in September, we live on the East Coast and are experiencing very cold weather and since it got cold my husbands head is hurting him so bad he cannot function at all. A few times when it got kind of cold he complained that his head hurt from the cold. We called his doctor yesterday and they are giving him medicine for a migraine. As of now it has not worked and he is in bed with the blanket over his head and cannot have any noise. I was just wondering if any other post surgical patients have experienced this. Prior to this he had slight headaches (same as always) and nothing that would keep him from going to work. This is his first sick day in eight years other than his time off for surgery. I would appreciate any input. Jackie
