Speech Problems after Surgery?

Hello everyone, I had surgery december 18th and it went wonderfully..I didn't have any serious problems with my speech except for not being able to find words until about 3 weeks out..since then I have been stuttering...has anyone else had problems with a delayed speech problem?

i can't relate as in the i have been through it myself.  i have not.  what i do know is that it takes a while for all of the swelling to go completely away.  there can be changes as the healing process continues.  i would talk to the doc, and see what information you gain.  with time the problems with your speech may resolve themself.  hope it helps.   rikk

I have had trouble w/ my speech where I was trying to get my words out.  I have had 2 brain surgeries.  I now know recently where my abnormality is via a new MRI.  It is near my 3rd ventricle.  I have other seizures, though.  I hope it gets better for you.
