Does anyone know if you are on his medication

1. Does it make you gain weight

2. Does it make you use the washroom alot more

As for it does both, was wondering if this was normal reaction to the drug

My 3 year old is on trileptal. He has been eating non-stop, and has gained a few pounds since he started taking it a few weeks ago. He also pees constantly. Coincidence?

I took trileptal for several months when I was first diagnosed and I gained about 20 pounds. I was hungry all the time. I was also dizzy at times and I had severe congestion and sinus problems build up. My Dr. took me off it and put me on tegratol.

Sounds like my reaction to Trileptal!  I've gained 15 lbs in 5 months and I'm nursing a nasty sinus infection right now.

How is the Tegretol treating you?
