Anyone on it? I'm on 300mg. Been on it a just over a month after a rapid switch from Keppra, had very bad psychological side effects. Trying to give this one a chance, had 1, may be 2 good weeks now i'm starting to feel like I did on the Keppra: very aggitated, anxious, mood swings, sudden depression, feel like my body is trembling/ humming/ full of electricity, feel like I want to pull skin off/ hit myself to relieve the irritation...going CRAZY...anyone relate?

If it has only been a few weeks, I would give it a little longer. Make sure you go slowly...Zonegran has a weird half life, but your dr should be working on that. I have been on Zonegrand for 3 years and havn't had any problems. Lost weight, but I can't complain too much.

Luna Hello fellow zonegran users, I've been on it since August 06, and it's been pretty good to be, memory is great, I switched from keppra, after having a seizure; but I have not lost a single pound! I've read alot about people loosing weight on it and REALLY NEED to loose some, the keppra put the weight on, plus I always gain weight just before I have a seizure, (that's how I know one is going; don't know when, but I know it's coming); then I ususally put on another 20lbs for good measure; so I was really excited when the doctor decided to put me on zonegran. At first was my stomach was a bit achy but that went away, not, my appetite has gone away somewhat, but nothing like when I was on tompomax, I lost all the weight the other meds put on me, it was wonderful. When does the weight lost begin?
