HAY THERE Gregg - Congrats on taking the challenge. Im in the same club. Had RLT 7/06 & will still get the beginning of what I term "misfiled aura" in the brain. It will kind of make me think/feel seizure is here but suddenly get a message "oh, no its not at all" I won't dare mention this "funny feeling" to anybody cuz everyone is so happy to see me doing so well. I have more energy & clarity than my 11 & 14 yr old sons. They often tell me to turn it down but I'm still tryin to remove the old "aura" feeling/file in the meantime. Good wishes to you! Sherri

Hey Guys:  I realize that this is an older thread, but I was wondering if either of you are still around maybe I could find out how you are doing!

I too just had a Right TL Resection to try to Curb 15 yrs of Seizures.  So far- I have been FEELING GREAT!   And I just had the surgery 1 week ago.  I know that something is different and that this is going to be such a Wonderful Life Changing Decision that I have made!

Last night while lieing in bed, trying to go to sleep I experienced what I would call a Non-Aura.  It was an odd "sensation" but definately not an Aura and it didn't lead to a seizure.

I was curious if either of you experienced many of these and did it go away?  I had read somewhere that Aura's after Surgery are common.  Do you find this to be true?  As I said, I am feeling wonderful, but of course now I am scared that a seizure may happen!

My other thought was maybe the Vicodin I have been taking caused it?

Any thoughts you or anyone have on this are so welcome!

Thanks so much!
