VNS therapy

I am having VNS therapy done March 27th. Ive done my research and have watched the video they gave me about it. The only thing im nervous about anesthesia.
I know what side effects that may happen when i get the VNS so thats not a problem. What im wondering is something more simple, I have a bluetooth and someone told me i may not be able to use it anymore after the VNS is implanted. If anyone knows for sure i would really appreciate it along with any other info about what to expect from the surgery.

I do wish I would have not got mine also and feel that there is much more to look at 1st. I got the brain surgery done the same day and didn't need the VNS after all. When it was put in it had malfunctions and now I'm to scared to take it out.
