What do you do to lose the medication weight? :(
I feel fat and ugly. Nothing fits me.

haven't been diagnosed with the right epilepsy as yet. Have been one for over 30years. Have been on different meds over these years recently I had a seizure and they changed my meds again only this time I am putting on alot of fat. This I did once before and they changed my meds to Topamax and I lost it all. But now they have put me on Keppra and I seems to be putting it all back again. Has anyone any ideas as to get rid of this problem. I don't eat much and I don't go for food for comfort, so I am at a lose to know what to do about it all. I feel fat and I suppose I look it as well.

hey i have to say the same. I too have been on many drugs probably most of them. When i was on topamax i lost a bunch of weight like 70lbs. But last year i was diagnosed with the correct type of epilepsy and they put me on lamictal and keppra. Unfortunatly, i have gained weight and i am still having seizures. I watch what i eat but lately, since March, i have put on 25lbs. Not to mention i also have to have a daysitter because i am having a seizure every other week. I feel fat and ugly too. Especially around my husband who i think weighs 100lbs lighter than i do. I want to feel pretty and know that he is happy even though he acts like he is i personally want to feel that he is. On a side note my husband is from Ontario as well and has been in the states for 7 years. glad to see i have a combination of people wanting to lose weight and canadians as well!
