Anyone notice that it practically disappears? I certainly have. I know that it's probably because of the meds but it would be nice to have it back.

I have been taking topamax for 2 years. I have not wanted sex for about that long. I had no idea. I have been just avoiding. I finally broke down and my husband and I talked about it. I never thought it could be the meds. I have been married for 12 years and love my husband more than anything. He is the best. He has been so understanding. It is also good to hear that more people are going through the same thing, but also that more people also have understanding spouses as well. There are good men in the world.

When I was on topamax and lamictal my drive was Wow! I could run circles around most men. Now that I'm on topamax and trileptal sex is probably the farthest thing from my mind. I really don't even like to think about it. It is good to see that some of us lucked out on spouses when it came to understanding, the rest of us are not so lucky. Is there a place I can trade mine in? :P

wow, i had no idea there were so many of us having the same problem. I don't feel so bad about it now. I hadn't considered the meds being my problem. I was worried that my bf's lack of sex drive and finally killed mine. lol. I have always been a SUPER horny woman and literally always ready to go at it. Not so much the last few months. I hardly even think about it any more, let alone want it. I used to annoy even my male friends with how much I thought about sex. LOL. I'm on Depakote ER and Keppra.
